In 2024, legend of television, the big screen, and stage Tom Wopat, popularly known as “Luke Duke” in The Dukes of Hazzard and more recently “Alden Rockwell” in the County Line movie franchise, will be teaming up with the 8-time Award-Winning Night Owl Country Band for a multi-date headlining tour across the country! This exciting stage show will feature an hourlong opening set by the Night Owl Country Band, followed by Tom Wopat taking the stage for a full band set, backed up by the Night Owl boys!
Tom Wopat became known worldwide with the 1979 premiere of the Dukes of Hazzard in the starring role of “Luke Duke,” and became one of the faces of the number one family show on television. One listen to his music catalog, however, reveals an eclectic soul behind the flannel-clad presentation of the TV legend. In Tom's stage show, listeners will hear glimpses of country, 70s pop, easy listening, jazz, R&B, and rock. Tom's smoky and smooth baritone, combined with the full band backing of the Night Owl Country Band, will be an electric stage show audiences will never forget!
As for Night Owl Country Band, they have spent the last 8 years and running building their identity as Indiana's premier country band, having won to date 8 Independent Music Awards, including awards such as Album of the Year, Single of the Year, and the coveted Band of the Year at the International Singer-Songwriter Association Awards. Their dynamic, energy-filled stage show includes older and outlaw country, southern rock, and modern country, with some tracks peppered in that you would never expect to hear at a country show! The past two years, they have hosted the Who's Hoo Independent Country Music Awards in Columbus, Indiana, featuring artists from Canada, Wales, the Netherlands, Australia, and across the US! In Q1 2024, Night Owl Country Band will be releasing their new single “Somewhere in the Country” to radio! Night Owl Country Band is honored to be once again working with Tom Wopat and can't wait to get on the road for the Good Owl Boys Tour!
